Guild Member Study Grant

The Memorial Study Grant has been established by the Guild to assist members in their technical and aesthetic development. The grant shall be available to all Guild members in good standing who have been a member for at least one year (associate members are not eligible.)

Beginning as well as advanced weavers and fiber artists in the Guild are encouraged to apply. The grant will be funded annually from Guild raffles, gifts, specific donations, and memorials. One or more grants, totaling up to $200, will be awarded annually. As the Memorial Study Grant Fund increases, the amount of the annual grant or grants may be increased. The Board must approve any change in the amount given in a year.

An applicant must submit a written grant proposal to the Study Grant Chairperson. The proposal should be for a specific weaving or fiber project, workshop, or opportunity which will contribute to the member’s own skill and also to Guild enrichment.

Applications should be made at least one month before the proposed workshop. To apply, please download and complete the application below and bring it to the Study Grant Chairperson.
